BANGKOK, THAATAM is the second-largest city in Thailand. It’s an amazing place to visit once you get to know it for yourself.

BANGKOK is the most famous of all the cities in this country. You can easily access so much more to do than just sightseeing and shopping. There are tons of museums and historical places to visit such as the National Museum Museums and Gardens by the River Siam and The Old City of Chalong among many other things you can find.

What are some attractions that tourists should not miss? Here they are!

National Museum Museums and Gardens by the River Siam

If you ask anyone who visited these two museums whether or not they think you will like them, it would probably be a “yes.” I had never even heard of them before but I was very pleased to learn more about how well these two are preserved as well as seen. They are both dedicated to telling stories as well as educating people on the life of the great artists who used to live here.

These two museums have several exhibits, but the one that everyone really wants to check out is their sculpture garden where there are statues, sculptures, and bronze works from around the world. They also have some modern art pieces from the time when Southeast Asia was still developing and had its own original style. These were quite popular with middle-class people back then because many of them had been in Europe and wanted to feel at home. Being able to see the original style back in this area makes you want to see it again and again, which is a good thing. However, don’t let it keep you from going here to the other museums and parks near the river or if you want to explore the whole city and enjoy the culture. We don’t suggest visiting any other museum museums such as those by the Royal Palace.

The old town of Chalong

If you are looking for something that would attract your interest, then Chalong is definitely for you. What started to become a tourist attraction after WWII is now a must-see. This is a must-visit stop, as it is full of history and rich in culture. If you ever wanted to experience history in Phnom Penh, you definitely need to visit this location. This city has a lot of things for its visitors. Its historic sites, restaurants, coffee shops, and new markets could give you a great view of the different regions in the country. There are countless temples to visit and many to explore. The monuments and buildings are amazing and their views are breathtaking. Make sure you make time to visit some of those places outside of Chalong for the best views and to enjoy the scenery. We recommend staying here at least one day so we wouldn’t miss our chance.
